Expansion Slot Memory Card


ALO software can automatically backup sales orders and bitmap signature images to a Secure Digital (SD) card in the handheld expansion slot.   SD cards are available from most office supply stores and manufacturers.

Just about any USB or parallel printer can become a wireless bluetooth printer by using a parallel or USB port bluetooth adapter such as an HP bt1300.  Combined with a bluetooth enabled handheld unit (such as the Tungsten T5 or E2) sales orders can be printed wirelessly.

Using a Symbol Technologies scanner, the Socket Inhand Scan Card ($269) can be inserted into the expansion slot to scan item and/or customer barcodes from ALO Order Entry.
